Spherical roller thrust bearings: its rollers are spherical, and the raceway of its seat washer is also in a spherical structure, so this kind of bearings has a self-aligning capacity. Spherical roller thrust bearings can carry an extremely large axial load. When carrying an axial load, it can also carry a radial load (not more than 55% of the axial load). It is insensitive to the misalignment of seat washer relative to shaft washer due to the bending of shaft. These bearings are mainly used in hydraulic generators, vertical motors, shaft of marine screw propellers, tower cranes, and plastic injection molding machines, etc.
